ICOS held a press conference at 10:00hrs on the 26th of September, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul.
The initial findings of the Feasibility Study On Opium Licensing In Afghanistan for Production of Morphine and Other Essential Medicines were released at the press conference. The panel included the Former Secretary General of Interpol Mr Raymond Kendall, as well as the Executive Director of ICOS Mr Emmanuel Reinert, and ICOS's Deputy Afghanistan Country Manager Ms Gulalai Momand.
